Colorado Blue Spruce
The Colorado Blue Spruce is considered to have the best needle retention of the spruces - we advise customers to avoid the Norway and White Spruces as cut trees...unless you enjoy sweeping up needles! Stick with a Blue Spruce that is freshly cut, kept well watered, and away from heat sources and you'll have a beautiful Christmas tree. Another advantage of the Blue Spruce is its strong twigs and branches that allow it to hold heavy ornaments. They are beautiful trees and we are happy to grow them. All of our Blue Spruce trees are organically grown. Spruces are the oldest major species of conifer. They are known, in particular, for their needle stiffness - these are the trees whose needles will stick you. The Blue Spruce grows very slowly taking, on average, twelve or more years to reach a height of 7 feet. To ensure your fresh-cut tree looks its best
